Create an account

1. Go to https://insignia.live/
2. Enter your email
3. Check the consent box
4. Click Get your subscription code
   • It’ll be delivered to your email inbox

Configure the emulator

1. Move the contents of the ZIP to their destination
2. Open /XEMU Application_
3. Run xemu.exe
4. Click Machine > Settings
5. Go to System and configure the following
   • MCPX Boot Rom – mcpx_1.0.bin
   • Flash ROM (BIOS) – Complex_4627v1.03.bin
   • Hard Disk – xbox_hdd.qcow2
   • EEPROM – eeprom.bin
6. Go to Network, and ensure “Enable” is ON
7. Exit the program (Ctrl + Q) and reopen it.
8. Click Machine > Load Disc… (Ctrl + O)
9. Open Utilities/Insignia_Setup.ison
10. Select Register Xbox and press A
11. Eject the disk (Ctrl + E)
12. Restart the system (Ctrl + R)

Set up your Xbox Live Account

It should boot to the XBOX home screen.

1. Select “XBOX LIVE”
2. Select “Create a new account”
3. Select Continue
4. Select United States and then Continue
5. Enter your GamerTag
6. Enter the subscription code that was sent to your email inbox
7. Set the following credit card information
   • VISA
   • Mario
   • 4111-1111-1111-1111
   • Future date
   • 1111111111
8. Enter the email address you used to register on Insignia
9. Confirm the rest of the messages

Configure the Xbox’s display settings

On the Xemu home screen, go to Settings > Video and set the following:

• Video Mode – WIDE SCREEN
• 480P – YES
• 720P – YES

Make sure the Xemu program has the following set under Machine > Settings > Display :

• Aspect ratio – 16:9
