Initial setup

1. Download Arkadyzja from the official website
2. Unzip it into a directory where no parent folders have spaces or special characters in them
3. Set up autodownloader JSONs
   • Go to https://sofa.legiongamer.org/tutoriales/arkadyzja and click “DESCARGA para Duckstation”
   • Place roms.json under arkadyzja/emulator/duckstation/tools
4. If you have been provided any ROMs ahead of time, place them in
   arkadyzja/emulator/duckstation/roms
   • They should be in CHD format
   • Make sure to place them directly in the roms folder, no subfolders

Control and emulator setup

1. Run ArkadyzjaLauncher, update if available
2. Enter a username and click Login
3. On the left, click Create Session
4. Click the orange Setup emulator button
5. For controls, click Settings > Controllers, select Controller Port 1 Digital Controller, click Automatic Mapping, and select your device
   • You can click and remap buttons as needed after that
6. Click Close when you’re ready
7. You can adjust other settings while you’re here, but the defaults are all good
   • The “P” key toggles the netplay desync notifications. In cases of spammy false positives, use this
   • The “T” key toggles in game chat

Hosting a game

1. On the left, click Create Session
2. Search or browse for your game and click the Play button to start a lobby
   • We recommend selecting the “Hide spectator button” as random people joining will interupt your session
   • Adjust delay as needed:
     • 3 or more recommended for long distance connections,
     • 1 is good for same region (ex: East Coast, USA)

Joining a game

1. On the left, click Wating List
2. Find the sesions you need to join and click the orange Join button
   • You can use the search at the top to limit by game name or host player name
